Worrying about particulate matter? wodtke offers solutions!
Good news for wood as a fuel and its users: The wodtke HiClean-Filter® technology reduces emissions produced during combustion without requiring complex external add-on installations.
Thanks to innovative filter material and a sophisticated airflow design, emissions and fuel consumption are effectively reduced, while efficiency and radiant heat transfer are significantly increased.
With the goal of continuously optimizing the combustion process in our wood-burning stoves and reducing emissions, wodtke employs the innovative HiClean-Filter® technology (HCF02). This novel technology, whose core consists of ceramic components, is largely maintenance-free and extremely durable.
To meet the emission limit requirements of the “Blue Angel” label, wodtke already offers a further development of this technology.
The utility model-protected reactor-catalyst assembly based on the “tandem principle” (HCF03), featuring ceramic inserts (HCF02) and a catalyst, enables very low emissions, particularly with regard to carbon monoxide (CO) and particulate matter (PM).
Is there a possibility to refit a stove with a filter?
Currently, there is no recommended way to retrofit a filter for residential heating appliances. wodtke relies on its integrated wodtke HiClean filter technology. In this system, the design of each stove model and the filter are optimally matched, tested, and certified.
